Mc Laughlin Comes Up Trumps In Challenge Match

Paddy Mc Laughlin or other-wards known as the “GINGER MAGICIAN” proved last Saturday night past in Dee’s American Pool Club Fintona that he’s one of the best, if not the best all round cueist in Ireland after his brilliant display recording a 20-14 victory over the 2007 European pool champion Stephen Dempsey in this great organised challenge match with both players representing the to biggest pool bodies in Ireland.

This 2,000 challenge was well supported with the large number of spectators that turned up to witnessed a fine display of pool produced by  both players.

The format started of with three games of 9-ball followed by three games of 8-ball (reds & yellows) and repeated each time until the person got to 20 first. The Ginger Magician open up a 4-2 lead from the start and retained his lead throughout the match which also seen Paddy put in some impressive performance on the 8-ball table a game he’s not used to…..
