Paddy Mc Loughlin kept his Grand-Slam alive and one step away from completing amazing achievement on Ireland‘s American 8 & 9 Ball Pool Tour after he defeated Tyrone’s Ronnie Boyle in a great final to claim the 2007 Munster Open 9Ball Pool Championship at the Mardyke Entertainment Complex Cork……

Paddy twice came from behind 10-7 and 11-8 to clinch victory on a 13-11 score-line to claim his fifth Premier Event title on Ireland’s American 8 & 9 Ball Pool Tours 2007 tournament diary……

Ronnie had a number of fairly easy chances to close out the match but Paddy showed why he is a class act and Ireland’s number by never giving up and displaying all his qualities and fighting spirit when needed to claim the 2007 Munster 9Ball Championship.

The Friday night before the Munster 9Ball Championship seen players gather for the 100 euros per-player American 8ball tournament which was played in a round robin format producing some fantastic pool throughout the event and it was nice to see a good few locals taking part.

The tournament was also won by the “Ginger Magician”, Paddy Mc Loughlin defeating Ronnie Boyle in another great final……

The final when rack for rack with Ronnie always holding a one rack lead and almost closed out the match by clearing up his seven balls only to rattle a fairly easy black  which allowed Paddy to step in and take out a brilliant seven ball finish and the black to claim yet another tournament victory…..
